Working parent and student parent - AET

Hi all

My partner is returning to studies on a master's course next month, we have had a few set backs with the application so are unsure yet if finance will be coming via NHS grant or student finance and so the exact figures

We currently have one child starting full time school and another under 1.

I am aiming to return to work in the new year

Does anyone have any advice regarding calculations and expectations work wise?

I know that his student income will be classed as income

He should be getting a disabled student grant too.

My main query was really about the AET?-

My work income before having child 2 was above the couples AET , but if I choose to drop my hours,it would fall below.

How exactly is the AET applied to student//working couples?
