Any advice welcome…

43and single a long time.

Have a friend of a few years which there is a now a known mutual attraction. I don’t know how to approach this mainly because long time single & also have a child & they initially gave mixed signals

Do I approach them and set a date or do I wait for them to say something to me in person? I’ve seen a post they’ve written & it’s clearly about me. Just don’t know what to do?

Kinda scared getting involved and getting hurt which is making me hold back - what would you advise
