[KCD1] I can barely carry the loot of my victi.. I mean my enemies. Even with a horse. How do people do it?

I have about 11 strength now and I got the +15 pounds perk (same with the horse I think).

Yesterday I made a slight mistake and strangled one of Sir Radzig's men in his sleep (I thought they were the bandit camp I was looking for all the time). Anyway, mistakes were made, the guy had some nice armor that he didn't need and that I wanted to sell, but it's so much and me and my horse get overencumbered easily. Does this get better in the game?
