Numb electric power steering 320d 2009

Anyone feel like the electric power steering is a little too numb as in when driving you can barely feel the road especially when it comes to drifting there is no self steering feel compared to hydrolic power steering ive looked into it and i came across a thing where deleting a specific code ($216A Servotronic) from cas makes the steering feel more like hydrolic steering im wondering if anyone has tried doing this before and would it make a difference?
