Need tips on introducing my Grandma to Balatro

Question

Hi all,

My grandma is pretty homebound and is pretty bored lately. She plays a lot of online Mahjong, Patience and casual games similar to that, easy going, just a little of thought put into it but not too much just to pass time.

I was thinking about games that she could maybe sink some time in and that posed a bit of a challenge, but she could do at her own tempo.
Balatro then came to mind, so I showed her a dutch review video (she does not know English).
She seemed genuinly interested and up for the challenge. So we agreed next time I visit I will create a Steam account for her and buy her Balatro to try out.

I do think it is a lot to take in for her at first, so I'd like to take it slow somehow. Yet I haven't exactly wrapped my head around how I should be doing that.

Letting her figure it out on her own would be hard, since most guides are also in English. Also she's not insanely tech savvy.

I figured I'd just play a few games with her and see how it goes. Probably go easy on the jokers at the start. Can anyone think of some other tips?
