Principles that i cant see anyone oppose in good faith.
This is the The Pro-Human AI Declaration, which some of you may already know and it is a very good set of prinicples, which i cannot see anyone oppose.
Human Control Is Non-Negotiable
No Superintelligence Race
Off-Switch
No Reckless Architectures
Independent Oversight
Capability Honesty
No AI Monopolies
Shared Prosperity
No Corporate Welfare
Genuine Value Creation
Democratic Authority Over Major Transitions
Avoid Societal Lock-In
Defense of Family and Community Bonds
Child Protection
Right to Grow
Pre-Deployment Safety Testing
Bot-or-Not Labeling
No Deceptive Identity
No Behavioral Addiction
No AI Personhood
Trustworthiness
Liberty
Psychological Privacy
Avoiding Enfeeblement
No Liability Shield
Developer Liability
Personal Liability
Independent Safety Standards
No Regulatory Capture
Failure Transparency
AI Loyalty
The only one I excluded is the Data Rights and Privacy point, which, as phrased in the document, is impposible to imlement, as the point mandates that your personal data is deletable from the AI system, which is not possible. In practice this point would mean that companies couldnt use your personal data to train AI. I would personaly agree to forcing AI companies to use personal data, only when given an explicit permision, by the person.
If you want to have each point explained in greater detail, here is the link to the declaration:
If you truly disagree with any of these, I am very interested in your reasoning.
