Does it matter if I introduce steroids while my RU58841 shed is still active, or should I wait until it settles?
On TRT, low-dose finasteride, just started RU58841. Considering adding a low tren dose (I have my reasons). My understanding is finasteride doesn't protect against tren at all (it binds AR directly, no 5-AR conversion needed), and RU58841 might, since it blocks the receptor itself, but nobody's tested RU vs tren specifically.
Separately, I understand hair miniaturization risk concentrates at the transition point between hair cycles, not during stable growth, and a synchronized shed means more follicles are sitting in that transition at once.
So: does starting tren during an active shed genuinely mean more real risk than waiting for things to settle first, or is this overthinking a small effect? Anyone dealt with fin-blind compounds (tren, mast, primo) overlapping with a shed from RU58841 or similar and noticed anything relevant to timing?
A simpler way of saying this all: During the shedding phase of a topical anti-androgen, is my hair more vulnerable to irreversible hair loss while introducing anabolic steroids?
