Fishing around the lowery?

Wife and daughter are going to see high school musical the musical tomorrow at the lowery, im thinking of doing a spot of fishing, not 100% familiar with the area, but I know it’s surrounded by canals. Is worth a couple hours or will I get moved on? I also think the weather might already have decided for me….
