​My dad texted me last night letting me know my mom had a heart attack during their anniversary dinner and is in critical condition at a hospital in Washington we are from Omaha but they moved out west at the beginning of the year. So she isn't doing well at all, and my dad told me I need to get out there as soon as possible. This is just crazy considering how things have gone for the past month and a half but this is life right?

​The main problem is that I’m in a really tough financial situation right now I usually have a good savings for issues like this but since July it's been one thing after another and now with this situation it's to the point where I have to ask for help. I've been fighting my vehicle tooth and nail and had a major home appliance give out right at the beginning of August and it's been a struggle to get ahead..so I can't afford a plane or bus ticket out of pocket. And while I could drive myself, it’s about a 24-hour drive and gas would end up costing around the same as a ticket anyway.. luckily i got PTO so I won't miss out for work and also bereavement pay if necessary.

I don't have any history but I still gotta try something. Thanks for your time and consideration.
