PVP - Cheating

I started playing tarkov before it was popular. Difficultly, knowledge, and positioning was the basis of the game and it worked at the time. I remember when I only had the option of playing 4 maps with no inertia or healing animations. I would spend hours trying to learn maps, and read comments about where task items were. I have no real way of telling how many hours I have played, as the profile stats were not a thing when I started (also bugged). I got kappa twice, had fully btc farm, and pretty much accomplished everything you could do before I quit. The real reason I stopped playing eft was the influx of rmt and cheaters.

Eft's biggest issue has always been the bones on which it is played on. Bugs, bad servers, and cheaters are just expected when playing, you actually have to accept them as features in the game to keep yourself sane. How is it, in 2026 with so many years in development, bsg accepts this suitable? How can we all accept this?

I will not lie and say I haven't enjoyed myself this wipe, but with every desync death behind cover, every .1 second peak headshot on an obscure angle by a "player" with 100s of hours I start to feel my will to open the game fade. I love this game. If it ran correctly, had an upgrade to server infrastructure, and a decent AC I would probably put another 3k hours into it. Seeing progress since I returned is great, but until these fundamental issues are resolved eft will bleed. It won't be a quick death, but it will be inevitable.
