Roommates Hanging their clothes in the living room

My roommates, both leave their clothes and hanging racks in the living room.

I get that when it rains it’s necessary but it’s become a fixed location for their clothes and underwear for the last several months.

Would it be wrong to ask them to stop or remember more often to hang their clothes elsewhere? We had a huge terrace with hanging lines.
