Socketable category in the loot filter?

Hi,

quick quest related to the loot filter.

What exactly are the items in the category "Socketable"? Should I even check things in there when I have set up the affixes + sockets I am looking for in all the other categories (e.g. Weapon, Armor, ... )

Thanks a lot!
