I decided to watch a review of Saberspark’s *Rodfellows* video. I went in with the knowledge that the creator likes the movie, and it’s one of their favorite bad movies, so I was ready for it to be pretty one-sided. Except it wasn’t, and Saberspark just sucks at reviewing.

Why did he, every time a fat character was there, feel the need to yell it out and shame it? Like, yeah, it’s a weird movie, but constantly going, “Oh, and there’s that FAT character again!” over and over... like, the way he acted made him seem so biased against the movie itself already for having fat characters. I can’t even. The movie might suck, and the people who made it might be shit, but the need to, I don’t know, fat shame? It’s just weird to me.

And like, every time he would point out that someone put it in as a fetish because they like it, that makes me unbelievably angry, too. Because like, yes, and? Someone’s attracted to fat people, so what? What’s the issue? Do fat people not deserve to be seen as attractive? It feels as though to him, they don’t.

I do plan to watch the actual video, though, not just the review, just to fully get the full picture, you know?

Fetish content or not, you can’t let your own disgust response, shape, how you review a piece of media I think.
