PSA: Don’t Let Cash App Take 7.5% Borrow Fee from You (50% increase from 5%). Make Them Wait Months Until You Borrow Again

Cash App’s borrow system, unlike traditional lenders, punishes you for being a reliable borrower.

You borrow the max, pay it back reasonably early (not weeks early, just at least a few days early), wait at least a few days, then repeat.

That should not begin to cost you more per borrow just because they see dollar signs.

Who cares if they extend the term to 6 weeks if you pay 50% more in fees?

They let degenerates have the 5% rate, but reliable users get screwed?

I mean you’re not even getting a full extra 2 weeks on top of the 4 week default period…borrowing on a Monday has always given you 4 weeks plus 4 extra days for a Friday due date, so they’re DOUBLING the borrow fee for only 10 extra days to pay
