[In Progress][50K][Young Adult/Sci-fi/Fantasy] The Psion of the End Times

Hello, I'm looking for a Beta-Reader (or Swap Partner, since I feel bad for not returning the favour :"D) for my story : The Psion of the End Times. For context, I'm currently in the middle of a major revision, but before going further, I would like to hear other's opinion to help me aim what I need to improve.

Project Detail:

It's supposedly the first part of a 'Light Novel' series, at least originally, until during the development it became somewhere between Light Novel and conventional Novel, and I don't know what to call it XD. So, there would be anime-style images and Japanese-inspired character.

Blurb:

Two rival found themselves abandoned by their friends and mentors after refusing to come to term for so long while galactic civilisation around them crumbled under the onslaught of the tainted universe.

Genuinely, anything would be fine :D. But if you wanted to be specific, I'm currently looking to improve what would I called the 'Silk and Steel engine' of my story where the fight or intense scenes would be complemented by emotional scenes in-between. So far, I'm driven to near paranoia due to not being able to find the good balance between the two and the rest of the story's element XD.
