Sky Stream box freezing on Live UHD sports (Error 3006 / Black screen) – Anyone else?

Hey everyone,

​I need to ask if I’m the only one dealing with this or if this is a common issue.

​Whenever I try to watch Live Sports in 4K UHD on my Sky Stream box (like Bundesliga or Champions League), it starts messing up after a few seconds. Either it drops the stream with "Error 3006", or the picture freezes completely while the audio keeps playing for a bit. Eventually, the screen just goes black and the box stops responding to the remote. The only fix is pulling the power plug.

​The weird part: Regular HD channels work completely fine. It ONLY crashes when I switch to a live UHD sports stream.

​Changing the HDMI cable didn't help, and Sky already sent me a replacement box—but the new one does the exact same thing. My internet is fast, stable, and connected via Ethernet cable. Sky support just gives me useless canned answers in the chat.

​Is anyone else having this issue? Is there any fix to get live 4K working, or is this tiny box just cheap hardware that can't handle the data rate? I'm honestly considering just cancelling the contract.
