3 months of 'not a fit' emails broke something in me, then a stranger on a random chatroom fixed it.

Career

Applied to 47 jobs since May. Got 2 interviews. Both ghosted me after "we'll get back to you," which at this point should just be added as a default auto-reply on Naukri.

Parents keep asking "beta kuch hua?" over dinner and I've genuinely run out of creative ways to say "not yet" without sounding like a lost cause and Feeling embarrassed about it later on.

Last week, at like 1 am, scrolling reels wasn't helping so I randomly hopped into a voice room just to kill time. No LinkedIn energy, no "tell me about yourself" , no small talks , just some guy from a random tier-2 college venting about his own rejection emails and a recruiter who ghosted him mid-interview.

We ended up comparing our "under review" purgatory stories for almost two hours, laughing at stuff that honestly isn't even funny.
Didn't land a job that night obviously πŸ˜πŸ™ But for the first time in weeks I didn't feel like the only unemployed person left on earth scrolling at 1 am.

Anyone else finding it weirdly easier to vent to a stranger than to people who actually know your situation? πŸ‘€
