A question regarding pouring libations out.

So I'm closeted, which makes it hard to give offerings outside of libations of water, which is what I've been doing so far. The first couple of times I did them outside, so I poured them directly into the ground, which I believe is okay. But the last couple of times I've done them inside and placed a cup on my makeshift altar, to be poured out later. I've been pouring them into a houseplant. The first time it poured down the side of the cup, dribbled on my sock, and the wood it was surrounded by. I cleaned that up. The second time was just this morning. It did the same thing, but on the wood. I cleaned that up, too. I'm going to just pour them out down the drain or something like that now, but could this in anyway offended Aphrodite? Whom the offerings were for?
