Self introduction

How did you guys do you’re self introduction video. Did you do the first part full body then edit a cut into the video that went straight into your close up shot or did you just walk up to the camera from full body to close up?

I don’t want to look awkward when I’m walking up and I don’t want to edit the video because they might disqualify me for that.
