What’s your list of issues that the Mayor candidates should be campaigning on?
I was chatting to a friend yesterday about who I was going to vote for. I’ll likely vote for Chow, she’s been good enough, raised tax levels (which had to be done IMO) and generally has run the city well for the last few years. Many will disagree with this position… and I’m sure you’ll share your thoughts. The other candidates don’t seem to be offering much or lack in specifics. I’ll do more research via the debates and websites.
Things that would get my attention…
- Cutting services citizens can/should maintain themselves.
- Dealing with Toronto’s growing homeless and mental health issues.
- growth and reliability of public transportation
- Improving Toronto ferry operations
- Care and beauty of Toronto parks.
- Bylaw enforcement (and revenue generation) illegal e-scooter/ motorbikes, running stop signs, very dark tinted windows.
Curious to hear what others care about or think should be the prominent issues.
