Is it weird that we don’t kiss during smex, me F 26, partner M 30

I was watching a movie and a smex scene came on. It had me thinking that me and my partner never usually kiss before, during or after.
Some context we started off as friends with benefits so from the start it was purely an exchange but then when the relationship grew the act stayed the same. There are occasions where we do kiss but that would only be when we’re really in the mood if that makes sense. I would say 95% of the time we don’t kiss at all, but that being said outside of the bedroom we don’t really kiss anyway. Is this weird?
