Told my colleague how to eat a dish. He came for my smoking habit instead.

I texted one of my colleagues telling him that the way he ate a particular course was incorrect and that eating it that way would make it less tasty. Instead of responding to the point I made, he replied that, for people like me who smoke, everything would taste the same anyway.. I need a good comeback to text him back.. I wasn’t expecting that response and felt like he turned a simple comment about food into a personal remark about me smoking.
