For people who don't understand the hype

Discussion & Feedback

Seen a lot of posts, comments and videos from Youtube, discords and reddit from what I can only describe as baby back noobs. The type of people who had never evolved past Cod or battlefield to try something challenging like Tarkov, Pubg, squad or Arma.

These players genuinely strike me as just low IQ. The basic skill of even clicking on an enemy without their arm going stiff and wobbly from a lack of aim assist, or recognizing that a helmet will stop a 5.56 bullet seems difficult for them.

Now were asking them to do math and manage their own personal budgets, to strategize as a team, comprehend battle lines and fog of war based on ally presence and spotted enemies.

To understand line of sights of overwatching snipers. To use smoke to cover revives and block enemy vision. To time mag loading between intense cqc assaults. To pick that perfect moment to sally out of a building and push to interrupt the enemies tempo.

These people log in, land on the objective with their break action sniper, confused why they can't one shot headshot the guy with the 15k kit in level 2-3 armor. Miss every red flag on the battlefield that would of stopped them from walking into someone else's sight, and die over and over again for a few hours, quitting before they even unlock a non-starter gun.

Then we see them post stuff like...

"Map is too big."

"The sniper is too weak."

"Graphics not good."

"Movement bad."

"No one working as a team"

"Game is to chaotic"

This isn't your typical goyslop you fat talentless hog. A few hours isn't enough time to appreciate the complexity, endless depth, and strategy of games like these.

I have 87 hours from alpha and beta combined, and the more I play, the more I find to enjoy and I begin to see the vision of this game the devs have graced us with.

Raiding on a super fob before its even fortified, and destroying its supply trucks, wiping its team and turning their supplies into cash by c4'ing all of it.

Destroying a tank with the manta anti-armor drone before its even started making its money back.

Setting up and using the AA emplacement to bring down a helicopter full of guys and turning their investments into my cash.

Having my entire squad get wiped, and guerrilla warfarin in the enemies backline with a silenced m4 the whole game.

You haven't even experienced the highs of this game until you've reached a 100k profit life, let me tell you. Its a high you will never stop chasing.

We have trouble explaining why the we feel the game is so good because this sort of experience, is not something you can share if the person your talking to is just shit at video games. Its like going to a fancy steak restaurant with someone who brought a bottle of ketchup (...and not for the fries).

Now, a lot of Wardogs fans will tell you to leave if you don't enjoy the game, and while I understand that response as a gut reaction, I don't want you to leave. I want you to stay and evolve!! Study this game, sample its lighter interpretation of... pubg combat, tarkov money management, arma/squad tactics. Learn to appreciate it, get better, become a well rounded FPS CHAD!

And hey, if your old and unc status, can't aim no more and still love the game and come from the dad simmer community. Well we need someone to run logi and fly us to the zone so its all love baby!
