Help getting started

Hey so ik this is for personal fianaces and everything like money and managing investments, but I need help getting a job in finance. im 19 i have never had a job because i never got hired. idk what to do. how do i get a job in finance. i am in my second year in uni and have tried to apply for all jobs and internships i can. i also know linkedin is good but idk how to grow mine as i dont know how and where to meet people for this industry. please help (i am not asking for a job or handout i am asking fro advice as idk how to make a career in this industry).
