TWC to TXDot - Chance Me lol

Hey all. As the title says, I currently work for TWC but saw a GREAT opportunity for me to work for TXDot doing what I do now but making double. Has anyone ever switched from one state agency to the other? Will it give me a better chance? I just couldnt believe my eyes when I saw this job appear...I couldnt resist applying.
