Just wanna let everyone know my true fuel tank capacity!

My prius like most gen II has the inaccurate fuel gauge issue. Most people say it's the bladder shrinking. I have always tracked mileage with my odometer and fill up after 325 miles to be safe. Well, like a dummy I forgot I had worked on the car and reset the battery and had the wrong odometer count with my tank.

Driving on the interstate and suddenly started losing power under throttle and immediately realized what I had done. I was able to jump off the next exit and make it to a fuel station. The car sputtered a few times. I shut off headlights and AC and coasted in on fumes.

The car sputtered in and it took 11.5 gallons to fill it, I think this pretty much shows the bladder is still normal.
