Had cdiff for a few months. (December January) Hospitalized treated February/March

She came down with strep begining of school, was having stomach pains before school began all together (i thought nerves)
Treated us both for strep, amoxicillin they have her 500 mg pill three times a day, doctor switched it to twice a day for five days because her stomach pains were getting worse
Her stomach pains are severe (mostly at night into morning)
Bowels have had on going issues
They did x rays to rule out other issues
Testing for cdiff but the on going argument if it’s colonized or begining stages of reoccurrence. False positives from colonized and her not needing treatment .

It is overwhelming right now mostly because we are recovering from illness but also, no matter the cleaning to matter the probiotics and change of things we learn and adapt… when cdiff hits this can wipe her out mentally emotionally and physically and as a mom who has experinced this before myself as a teen. It’s hard to watch this unfold. Her lower left and upper left sromach pains are so intense she screams and Cry’s at everyone to fix it .
They are discussing endoscopy but doesn’t want to mess with her gut lining if not needing to.

We are in a grey area of options, waiting for test, beginig of school year … and I already feel defeated before knowing if this is Truely the battle that is back. Exhausted
