Can't mod remixed worlds anymore.

Hi all.
So I've run into an issue when remixing worlds in the studio to do with mods.
If i don't touch mods at all, everything is fine, the issue comes if i make any attempt at changing mods, adding more, or what have you.

Once i do anything at all with mods in a remixed world it prevents me from saving with the error message "(insert ID for the thing i'm remixing) is not a mod.

As a result i am unable to add any mods to a remix. I've done some experimenting on my end and can't find any solution other than just "don't mod remixes" or "Remake everything from scratch in a custom world if you want mods".

Just thought this would be one that should be brought to people's attention.
