Turning in my sleep is excruciating
FTM, 38+5 weeks pregnant, I have all the pregnancy pillows that everyone recommends shoved under me and around me during sleep, and it doesn't make a difference to the pain.
When I turn from one side to the other, my huge belly pulls on my ligaments so hard that the pain is unbearable. It takes ages to get up the strength to turn over, sometimes I have to wake my husband up and get him to help hoist me up.
I used to be able to tuck my knees up as high as they'd go to my chest and then roll, but I can't make this movement anymore.
Last night I broke down and for the last couple hours wore my belly band while sleeping, which helped support my muscles when turning, but the instruction manual says not to do that and I know by relying on it too much I am making my own muscles weaker.
I just don't know what to do anymore and getting through the last couple weeks of this pregnancy seems impossible. Looking for any advice from people who might've experienced this.
