Are non-Astartes chain swords just bad?

The only ones worth calling late-game I've been able to find are Harbinger of Carnage (which requires Heretic-1, so Abelard won't use it) and Craven's Bane, which is the only Eviscerator in the game (St Katherine's Adulation seems to be out) and thus a 2H.

Best 1h chainsword Abelard will wear seems to be the Ryza-pattern, which is... not a late-game weapon.
