"Read this text aloud in [this] accent." Are we expected to know every existing accent of English?

I've been getting these video/audio studies where you have to evaluate a text to be read aloud in a given accent.

The problem is, I don't know the specifics of a Leeds accent, a Cardiff accent, a South Indian accent, a Belfast accent, a Michigan accent, a Vancouver accent, a Johannesburg accent, etc etc etc.

How am I supposed to go about this? Do they expect us to know every existing accent of English?
