10 days vacation from Montreal with 71-year-old parents in Sep.22. Where to go?

Hey,

Initially they wanted to go to the Caribbeans but it is all hurricane seasons and the ABC islands are at least 15+hours flight so it is not an option.
Bermuda could be an option. My mom already saw New York
I was thinking initially maybe San Diego and LA but in LA you need a car and apparently traffic and parking is a hassle and not sure how much they would enjoy those locations
I was thinking maybe Aspen or something like that. Somewhere you can walk and not a hassle and short flights.

Any advice?
