Family video editing PC with occasional gaming

Build Ready?

###Build Help/Ready:

Last PC I built was in 2012, pre-marriage and pre-child. Building a PC now is still as intimidating, especially with how expensive everything is. But I don't mind spending as much now since I won't be building another for another decade I'm sure. I was almost sold on the fishbowl look (hyte y70 non-touch), but ultimately just like the classic/timeless look of the Fractal North. Not super into RGB, but I do like the idea of subtle warm RGB accents to go with the wood paneling of the front. Obviously performance is #1, but aesthetics are a close second and then how quiet it would run being third in priority.

Have you read the sidebar and rules? (Please do)

Yes

What is your intended use for this build? The more details the better.

I love editing videos, mostly family trips, etc. I do want to get back into gaming, but I'm nowhere near hardcore and it would be occasional.

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? (Screen resolution, framerate, game settings)

Replace this text with your answer.

What is your budget (ballpark is okay)?

$3,500 MAX

In what country are you purchasing your parts?

US

Post a draft of your potential build here (specific parts please). Consider formatting your parts list. Don't ask to be spoonfed a build (read the rules!).

Provide any additional details you wish below.

I really enjoy the blacked out look, but felt some lighting would be nice without overdoing it, so went with the RGB RAM. I also read the motherboard I chose has built in RBG lighting?

Is there anything I'm completely overlooking with this build that could cause issues down the line? Are there any parts that I could replace without deviating from the look I'm going for but could maybe be cheaper?

Thanks in advance!
