Razer mouse constantly freezing

My mouse is the razer cobra wired variant and it keeps freezing for a about 10 seconds at a time randomly when I am playing games, it just wont accept any inputs, on occasion my pc will play the usb disconnect noise when it happens, but the rgb stays on, I just reinstalled the synapse app and went in device manager and turned usb power saving to off in the usb hub section. Is there anything else i can do, I am just considering getting a new mouse at this point.
