Is this game still plagued with battle pass ads when you boot it up?

Fancied trying out black ops classic after playing BO1/2 recently - is the game still plagued with battle pass ads when you load it up? I kept up with Zombies in this game for a while before getting sick of the constant monetisation bombardment.

Also how is matchmaking nowadays after the recent update? Cheers guys
