any tips for reading the novels (tgcf) when you hate reading and dont really read and its at a point where the plot is kind of boring?? (sorry its a stupid post but i just really wanted to say that somewhere)

Not exactly a review I guesssss but it's like an update on how I'm doing reading my first ever danmei novel!!! I've only ever read bl manhuas and watched animes/donghuas and I honestly haven't really touched a book or a novel or anything like that on my own will in probably years! But I just rewatched tgcf and really wanted to know the rest of the story so I picked up the novel, and the lack of images and just sooooooo many words is honestly kind of boring to me but I still really want to know the rest of the story esp bc I'm at kind of a more boring part right now (just started volume 3) and I already know what's going to happen very very soon in the next 40 50 pages or so and it's very tragic so I'm honestly just feeling dreadful about it.......

Sorry this post but please if u hate reading like me and honestly sorry reading is just so hard for me please do u guys have any tips or pls just hype me up and push me to read through this very very very dreadful chapters thank you very much sorry I know this is stupid please dont bash me for it
