Best ways to sleep better in unfamiliar places?

I sleep completely fine at home but put me in a hotel room and i will be awake all night. Every tiny sound wakes me up, air smells different, the pillows feel wrong, the ac keeps turning on and off and i am weirdly aware of where the door is all night.

This also happens when i stay with family. Everyone else passes out and i am still awake at 2am trying to convince myself the room is normal. The first night is always the worst which sucks because i travel for work and usually need to be functional the next morning.
