Has anybody else found mortgage lending with APG to be a disaster? Application for a HEL submitted on June 21. Initial disclosures didn’t come until July 23rd, then appraisal took until early August to be ordered (we still don’t have the fricking appraisal report …). Then it just sat in limbo for a few more weeks and finally entered processing around August 20th.

60+ fricking days elapsed and we aren’t even in underwriting yet. At this rate we may not close (assuming I don’t get fed up and just walk at this point) until October or later. Is this sort of disaster normal for them?

Have to be frank - if I’d known it was going to be this bad I never would have applied with them in the first place.
