Anyone else who read book for the first time and thought dain was the mmc💀🤚

I laugh every time I think of it lol. The book started with Violet’s POV and it was clear that she had feelings for him. Even after meeting him later she flirts with him. It seemed like it was the direction in which we were heading. Mind you I had no idea of this book or the MMC, just that it has dragons lol. In my defense anyone would have thought that with no knowledge🤧.

And then when Dain came up I for some reason got weird vibes from him. Like I had convinced myself this is the MMC and now I’ll have to like him for some reason💀. And I did, I tried so hard to like him but god he was just sooo annoying. Looking back at it I don’t even know if I would have continued the book had Violet given him a chance, like seriously i mean it.

But then my man Xaden Riorson showed up and the rest is history😩🤌. There’s nothing I hate more than love triangles and I’m glad how it was wrapped up in this book, tbh it wasn’t even a triangle to begin with lol. Even though Xaden and Vi got together pretty early I still think that the Threshing kiss was unnecessary. It’s something I would always cringe at , also xaden fuming behind in that scene was absolute cinema lol
