The current flu

Those of you who have been exposed to the flu but have not got it and have not had the flu vaccine do you have days when you feel like you are getting it but then nothing happens?

Kids all took turns getting it during the first 3 wks of August but I never got it. But since the second week I've had off and on sore throats, feeling unwell, extra fatigue, that "I'm getting a cold feeling" in my nose as well maybe temperature being a but hot or cold and one evening food and drink tasted bitter.

But I've done tests and they were not positive for any virus and some days I feel totally normal and some days I feel ok for some of the day but then come evening I need bed early as feel wrong.

So not looking for a diagnosis or to be told to get the flu vac or go to the doc or any of that. Just is anyone else dealing with the same thing?
