First Solo trip

Hey guys, I'm planning my first solo trip to Konkan (Malvan, vengurla). I'll be traveling from Hyderabad to Kolhapur and take a bike rental there and then ride till malvan

I'm planning the trip from 10th September to 14th September, my only concern is will there be hostels in malvan?

Do I need to pre book or can I get hostel there directly

And is it a good idea to ride from Kolhapur to malvan?

And and and please suggest me the local Konkani food and I'm open for any kind of suggestions.

My intention is to roam around like a local, I don't have any check boxes or a list, I just want to feel the place, understand the culture and live like a Konkani for few days
