Looking for a few thoughtful beta testers for a private relationship-history app
Hi — I’m building a small app called Prism, and I’m looking for a few people willing to test an early closed beta.
Prism is a private place for preserving meaningful moments in a relationship and returning to them later.
The idea is simple:
The Scribe keeps the record. The user decides what it means.
Prism is not meant to diagnose your relationship, score it, tell you who is right, or interpret your experiences for you.
It’s meant to help you keep track of things you don’t want to lose — conflicts, behaviors, commitments, appreciations, and the history around them — so you can come back to your own record later.
I’m specifically looking for people who are willing to actually use it for a little while, not just click through the screens once.
What I need feedback on is things like:
Where did you get confused?
What did you expect to happen that didn’t?
Was there something you wanted to save but couldn’t figure out where it belonged?
Could you find something again after you recorded it?
Did anything make the app feel uncomfortable, judgmental, or hard to trust?
What felt natural or useful?
This is still a very early beta, so there are limitations:
no cloud sync yet
your records currently stay in the browser/profile where you create them
clearing browser/site data can remove locally stored records
backups are available, but they are readable files and are not encrypted by Prism yet
Because of that, I’m keeping the beta small and manually approving access rather than posting the live app link publicly.
If this sounds interesting, comment here or send me a message and tell me a little about why you’d like to test it.
You absolutely do not need to be technical.
In fact, I’m especially interested in hearing from normal people who will tell me things like:
“I didn’t understand this.”
“I thought this would be somewhere else.”
“This part made sense immediately.”
“I wanted to do this, but I couldn’t figure out how.”
That kind of feedback is incredibly useful right now.
Thank you. ❤️
