[pc][1997?] Seeking a game from a trailer

I owned the Fresh Demo CDs when some of them came out, on one was a trailer that i've recently remembered, the theme was similar to battletech, but the mechs looked more like large battle suits, the trailer starts with a base coming under attack and the protagonist(?) goes out to fight the invaders, the footage through the trailer switches between cinematic and pov, maybe from the game itself, the trailer ends with an attacking mech pilot leaving their mech while the pov mech goes around a rock that it was taking cover behind and destroying it, the communication says that the enemy was destroyed when the mech looks up to a ridge where other mechs are lined up and are aiming at him before they attack and destroyed the mech before the game name was shown, which i don't remember, so any help would be nice, because it's another ancient game i'm seeking
