People often mistake being quiet for not caring. They see the silence, the distance, and the walls, but they don’t always see the reason behind them.

Sometimes, it’s not that we don’t want people around. Sometimes, we’re just scared of being too much, too heavy, too complicated, too much to handle.

But deep down, maybe we all just want someone we can talk to without overthinking if we’re annoying or becoming a burden. Someone to share random thoughts, bad days, and little moments with.

It’s funny how we can crave connection while being afraid to open the door.

I hope everyone finds that person, someone who makes life feel a little lighter, someone safe enough that we don’t have to hide behind our walls anymore.
