Extending gear on a budget
Hello, I've been wing foiling for about 7 months, and having a blast. My current goal is to learn jibes, I'm getting close, but I'm having trouble maintaining the carve through the turn.
I got my current gear for light wind, a 101l midlength board, 7m wing, Armstrong HA1180 foil with hs232 tail. I also have an old (2021?) 5m wing. I have had great fun this winter with light winds, as long as it's more than about 8 knots I can get up with little issue.
I can afford one more piece of gear this year maybe two, if I sell the corresponding of gear. My country is moving in to spring, and with it many days of 15-30 knot winds.
If you could replace just one piece of gear to enjoy higher winds, which piece would take priority? If it also helps to progress in carving, that's an absolute plus.
