Odissey's casting
Am I the only one who is refusing to watch Odissey just because it has the same actors over and over again? I'm (obviously) talking about Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson. I'm not particularly against Matt Damon, as the last movies I remember him in were the Jason Bourne's franchise, but probably he did make other movies (now I'm remembering Interstellar, but it was 12 years ago, so I'm gonna give him a pass). And let's not forget about Anne Hathaway. Don't get me wrong, they are all great actors, and they deserve the success they have (I'm a chud watching their movies, not the other way around), but I have a feeling at some point Christopher Nolan either realized himself or somebody close to him told him "stop casting every famous people that has made blockbuster in the last 5 years". I'm kinda surprised Timothee Chalamet is not here, they would have casted Sean Connery if he were alive today. The point I'm trying to make is: maybe there were better suited actors to play these roles, but instead he chose the safe path and only casted extremely famous and influential people from the recent years. It has probably been already discussed, but I'd like to hear your opinions on it. I hope this post complies with the sub rules.
