3 priorities if you just started DP2 - from a 43/45 student

I was asked by DP2 students what they should prioritize in their last year to get that final push and achieve both the predicted but also final grades they strive for. 🤞

1. Find your study system.
Flashcards, Feynman, explaining things out loud, visual videos, past papers… experiment until you know what actually works for you. This will save you time when you are preparing for mocks since you know exactly how you study for each subject!!

2. Get your IAs + EE done BEFORE the deadlines.
Seriously 💔. You cannot afford to have everything piling up in DP2, the stress will feel crushing… The deadlines + exam pressure will catch up with you very quickly.

3. Track your progress.
Keep track of your study habits, test scores and past papers. You want to know before mocks what’s working, where your gaps are and which subjects you can still push to your target grade. Also I believe that you can only improve things you can actually measure. This makes goal setting AND goal ACHIEVING way more in reach of your capabilities.

Your DP2 predicted grades can also matter a lot for university applications, so don’t wait until mocks to realize you’re behind.
