I think im being discrimated against (Scotland)

Ive been with my work for 5 years now, I worked 36.5hrs a week, found out I was pregnant 2 years into service. Subsequently lost that pregnancy. A year later, found out I was pregnant again. Successful pregnancy. I reduced my hours to 28hrs a week the further along I got. Maternity leave started on 1st of April 2025, I returned 1st of April 2026. I put a flexible working request in November 2025 to give them ample time, I was requesting 16.5hrs a week over 3 days, only work weekend on and then weekend off. And NO 12 hour shifts.

It was agreed id move locations to be accommodated as another woman was coming back from maternity leave roughly the same time.

Since returning, ive had to email the manager almost weekly about the rota. Putting me in for 12 hours shifts, almost every weekend. I then put another request in for one 11hour shift and one 5.5hr as my daughter will be going to private nursery but only on a Monday, Thursday or friday with occasional weekend. Theyve rejected my request but accepted the other woman's one. She never works weekends, and has two shifts back to back.

Im thinking about raising a grievance as its been ongoing for almost a year and if anything im further behind that before maternity. There's other things happened that would be too long to include.

My job is within care, 11hr shifts are the norm, but ive been told I need to be more flexible. Im a single mother, i love my job and love going to work. But right now im at a serious crossroads
