Guys obsession over Marissa aswell as general other characters in the show

I notice Marissa tends to get a lot of love here, and I just want to empathize how much of a ‘everyone loves me’ vibe she got constantly, partially putting this on herself if I’m being honest

Oliver S1
They both met at therapy anyways but still. He ran Ryan of the golf course and multiple other things. It was also one of the core time that I hated Marissa. Ryan warned her over and over, she didn’t listen, and then when it all came down crashing, she had the cheek to still try and take Ryan back? I can’t even empathize how much I hated her in this moment

Trey S2
Ended up assaulting her and was basically just crazy about her.

John S3
Tried to commit suicide over Marissa. Plus also Volchek in this same season. Volchek didn’t even want to show that he cared for Marissa in any way. He wanted it look as if he was just using her for fun. Then even, when Marissa told him that she’s done with it all now and wants to go back to her life, Volchek still ended up getting upset that she wanted to leave him

Luke S1
I admit Luke was already in a relationship with her so it was kindof his right relationship. Still though he just never gave her any room to breathe

Ryan (the whole thing basically)
Ryan was obsessed with Marissa from the start. I think some might agree to this, and some might not. For me though what confirmed his obsession, was when he lost her at the end of S3 and resorted to cage fighting because of it. He didn’t care if he even got paid or night. He just wanted to get beaten up every night over Marissa

And then at least half the characters also just spiraled during S4, because of Marissa!
Julie never paid any attention to her own daughter Kaitlyn because she had lost her fave daughter Marissa. Ryan, cage fighting like I said. And Summer went to Uni but just wasn’t stable whilst there because of Marissa.
