Product engineer with 4.5+ years across React Native, Node.js, and full-stack systems. Built a YC-backed IoT platform from scratch, ran payment infrastructure migrations on live products, and founded my own startup. Currently between roles and open to contract work; can start immediately.

Hi,

I've spent the last few years moving between early-stage teams and building my own thing on the side. Right now I'm between roles and picking up project-based work instead of jumping straight into another full-time contract.

Some of what I've built along the way.

* Built Veeve, an IoT platform, from scratch at a YC W17 company. It became their flagship revenue product.
* Solo-built a payroll system ($10M) inside a restaurant tech company's mobile app, using React Native and NestJS. Later migrated it from Adyen to Stripe on the live product with zero downtime, ran both systems in parallel during the cutover, and cut production incidents by 95%.
* Led an 18-engineer web team (Next.js, NestJS) on that same product once it scaled, working alongside a 10-engineer mobile team.
* Shipped a crypto wallet with 50K+ downloads and a companion authenticator app for a Netherlands-based fintech, fully remote.
* Revamped the BBC World Service app (1M+ users) and built a shared component library the wider team reused across projects.
* Founded Karawan, a carpooling app, solo. Built it on Firebase, Firestore, Auth, FCM, and S3. Got to 400+ pre-launch bookings and made it to the semifinals of Pakistan's National Startup Competition 2022.
